1 – Could you introduce yourself?
My name is Ashley Edelman, Im 35 from Australian and I am a ex stripper turned personal development and mindset coach.
2 – How Did You Hear About Us?
I Saw a video from Kevin Lidin on Instagram. Its something I have wanted to do for a long time and I took this as a sign that its time to follow through with my word.
3 – Why did you apply for this program?
Because I wanted to learn meditation from Buddhist Monks being the source, instead of learning it through someone who taught someone who taught someone. But I also wanted to remove all outside distractions to see how deep I could dive within to find an inner wisdom and clarity that I didn’t have.
4 – Before you come and after joining this program, How has your life changed?
It’s changed my life because I’ve found true happiness inside. It’s a cliche but it’s true that we have the power within us to make incredible shifts to our life from simply sitting with ourselves and going deep. I’ve gone from thinking I couldn’t meditate more than 5 minutes a day to meditating between 60 to 90 minutes daily
5 – What impressed you?
Not only the Monks dedication to living the life they do day in and day out, but also how much its helped me in my life. Life stops for 30 days at iMONASTERY, but you gain so much more life from it in the long run
6 – Could you please invite people to join this project?
I’ve already been promoting on my stories and had many people enquire and a few people have already signed up
7 – How many programs have you had?
Only one month, I’m not sure if I will ordain in the short term because it was a long time to be away, and I do have a mission to change as many lives as possible. But, if I have the calling then I will. What I will be doing in the short term is 2 to 4 times a year I will be taking a week in solitude somewhere in the world so I can disconnect to re connect.
8 – What do you think of the culture?
I love the Buddhist and Monk Culture, however Im not sure if Theravada Buddhism resonates with me for a few reasons as I consider myself service to others, plus I want to have a a wife and family.
9 – What makes you happy?
Myself first and foremost, but new experiences, traveling and seeing the world and being able to share that with my girlfriend, the work I do is also very rewarding.
10 – Have you been ordained as a Monk?
I did yes, I was group #14
11 – How is being monk good?
I really enjoyed the experience, but I did struggle with only eating twice a day haha
12 – How has being a monk benefited your life?
I’ve learnt a life long skill in meditation, its also given me the skills and the knowledge to share with the western world to help with the current energetic and spiritual shift that is happening.
13 – Please give an example of where you used the knowledge from here?
In my coaching sessions, in social media and in general conversations
14 – What principles have you put into practice? in daily life Please share the techniques you have learned with iMONASTERY.?

I meditate daily for 60 to 90 minutes. Its brought calm and clarity which has been a massive help in my daily life.
